What is Baptism?

Baptism is a public declaration of your faith in Jesus Christ and an important step of obedience for every believer. It does not save us—salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus alone. Instead, baptism is an outward expression of the new life that has already begun through faith in Christ.

Through baptism by immersion, we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Going beneath the water symbolizes our old life being buried with Christ, and being raised from the water represents the new life we have in Him.
